Pregnancy after treatment
Both very low and high body weight can disrupt ovulation, and higher BMI is associated with lower response to stimulation and greater anaesthetic and pregnancy risks. Some Canadian clinics apply BMI thresholds for sedation safety. Advice should be practical and non-blaming — modest, sustainable changes matter more than a target number, and weight is only one of many factors.
