Backup power

Backup power for medicine storage usually means an inverter with a battery, a UPS sized for a fridge, or a generator. A closed, full fridge holds temperature for a couple of hours on its own, so short interruptions are often manageable without one. Check any arrangement in advance rather than during a cycle, and ask your clinic what backup power the laboratory itself uses.
