Donor embryo

Embryo donation is where people who have completed their family, or who used donor gametes, donate remaining embryos for another person's treatment. It requires clear written consent from everyone with rights to the embryos, counselling for both parties, and compliance with South African regulations on artificial fertilisation. Any resulting child has no genetic link to the recipients.
