Double embryo transfer (DET)

Double embryo transfer places two embryos in the womb. It raises the chance of pregnancy in a single transfer for some patients, but also substantially raises the chance of twins and the associated risks. Whether it is appropriate depends on age, embryo quality, previous cycles and medical history, and should be a considered discussion rather than an assumption.
