Injection technique

Technique covers hand hygiene, checking the product and its expiry, preparing the dose exactly as your clinic instructed, choosing and rotating the injection site, giving the injection at the angle and depth shown, and disposing of the needle in a sharps container. Ask the nurse to watch you do the first one, and phone the clinic rather than guessing if a dose goes wrong.
