Subcutaneous injection

Most fertility stimulation medicines are given subcutaneously, into the fat just beneath the skin of the abdomen or thigh, using a short fine needle. Sites are rotated to reduce bruising. Your clinic or nurse will teach the technique for your particular pen or syringe before you start.
