Mock embryo transfer

A mock or trial transfer passes a soft catheter through the cervix before the real procedure so the doctor can map the direction and depth of the uterine cavity and choose the right catheter. It is quick and helps avoid difficulty on the day, particularly where the cervix is tight or the womb tilted.
