Progesterone support supplies the hormone that keeps the womb lining stable in early pregnancy. It may be given as vaginal pessaries or gel, injections into the muscle, or tablets, depending on the clinic's protocol and what is available. Formulations are not interchangeable, so never swap products or routes without your clinic's instruction.
