Luteal support is the hormone support given after egg collection or embryo transfer, most commonly progesterone and sometimes oestrogen. It compensates for the effect fertility medicines have on the body's own hormone production and helps maintain the lining during early implantation. Your clinic will say how long to continue; do not stop early on your own.
