Oestrogen support

Oestrogen support, usually oestradiol tablets used orally or vaginally, or sometimes patches, thickens the endometrium in a medicated frozen transfer or donor egg cycle. Scans check the lining before progesterone is added. Continue exactly as prescribed until told otherwise, because stopping early can cause bleeding and cancel the transfer.
