Stimulation protocol

The individual plan of which medicines you take, in what order.

Medicines & protocols

Your stimulation protocol is the personalised plan setting out which medicines are used, when they start and stop, and how monitoring will be scheduled. It is chosen from your age, ovarian reserve, weight, medical history and any previous response, and may be changed between cycles if the response was too low or too high.

Also known as: IVF protocol, treatment protocol, medication plan
