Exercise and fertility

How much activity supports fertility, and when it is too much.

Nutrition and lifestyle

Regular moderate activity supports ovulation, weight management and mental health. Very high training loads with insufficient energy intake can suppress ovulation. During stimulation, high-impact and twisting exercise is usually discouraged because enlarged ovaries raise the risk of torsion — ask your clinic what is sensible for you.

Also known as: physical activity, exercise during IVF
