Treatment
IVM collects immature eggs with little or no stimulation and matures them in culture before fertilisation. It avoids OHSS and is used selectively, for example in some people with PCOS or where treatment must start urgently. Success rates are generally lower than conventional IVF and it is offered in a small number of centres.
