Cycle and ovulation
An ovulation predictor kit shows a positive result when LH rises, giving roughly 24 to 36 hours' notice of ovulation. They are useful for timing sex or an IUI, but they confirm a surge rather than proving an egg was released, and PCOS can cause misleading repeated positives.
