Diminished ovarian reserve is suggested by low AMH, a low antral follicle count or raised early-cycle FSH. It usually means fewer eggs are collected in a stimulation cycle, so cumulative chances across cycles may be lower. It is not the same as being unable to conceive, and it does not by itself indicate poor egg quality.
