Male fertility
Techniques include PESA, TESA, TESE and microTESE, chosen according to whether the cause is obstructive or non-obstructive. Retrieved sperm are used with ICSI, either fresh or frozen for later cycles. Discuss with the clinic how retrieval will be coordinated with the partner's egg retrieval, and what happens if no sperm is found.
