Female fertility
Diminished ovarian reserve means the number of eggs left in the ovaries is lower than average for the person's age, usually suggested by a low AMH, a low antral follicle count or a raised early-cycle FSH. It affects how many eggs a stimulation cycle is likely to produce, but it is a measure of quantity rather than a direct measure of egg quality, and it does not mean pregnancy is impossible.
