Poor ovarian response

Poor ovarian response means the ovaries produce only a small number of follicles despite adequate stimulation, often defined as three or fewer eggs collected. It is more common with low ovarian reserve and increasing age. Options include changing the protocol or dose, adding LH activity, considering mild or natural-cycle IVF, collecting eggs over more than one cycle, or discussing donor eggs.
