ERA (endometrial receptivity analysis)

An ERA analyses gene activity in an endometrial biopsy taken in a mock cycle, aiming to identify whether the transfer should be earlier or later than standard. It is an optional add-on with an extra cost, and randomised evidence has not shown a consistent improvement in live birth rates for most patients. Ask your specialist what benefit is expected in your specific situation before agreeing to it.
