Follicle tracking is a sequence of ultrasound scans, sometimes with blood tests, that measures how many follicles are developing and how quickly. It is used in ovulation induction, IUI and IVF to adjust the medicine dose and decide when to give the trigger injection. Scans are typically every two to three days once stimulation is under way.
