Recipient

The recipient is the person or couple undergoing treatment with donated gametes or embryos. Recipients receive counselling about the implications for themselves and any child, complete detailed consent forms, and in egg or embryo donation have their womb lining prepared to synchronise with the donor's cycle or the thaw date.
