Female fertility
A uterine septum is a congenital wall of tissue partly dividing the cavity of the womb. It is the uterine anomaly most consistently linked with miscarriage and, in selected cases, is corrected by a short hysteroscopic operation. Not every septum needs surgery — the decision depends on its size and your history.
