Recurrent implantation failure

Recurrent implantation failure is generally described as several transfers of good-quality embryos without a pregnancy, though there is no single agreed definition. Investigation may look at the uterine cavity, chronic endometritis, thyroid and other medical factors, sperm DNA damage and embryo chromosomes. Many proposed treatments in this area, particularly immune therapies, lack good evidence and can be expensive.
