Conventional IVF

IVF where sperm and eggs are placed together so fertilisation happens naturally in the dish.

IVF & treatment

In conventional IVF, each egg is incubated with many prepared sperm. It is often used when sperm parameters are normal. ICSI is used instead when a single sperm needs to be injected into each egg.

Also known as: standard IVF, insemination IVF
