The ability to conceive a pregnancy and have a baby.

Fertility basics

Fertility describes the biological capacity to conceive. It depends on eggs, sperm, the fallopian tubes, the uterus and hormones working together, and it changes with age and health. Many people with normal fertility still take several months to conceive.
