An IVF cycle typically includes ovarian stimulation, egg collection, fertilisation in the laboratory and a fresh embryo transfer or freezing of embryos. Clinics and the HFEA count cycles in slightly different ways, so check what a 'cycle' includes when comparing prices or success rates.
