Live birth rate

The proportion of cycles, egg collections or transfers resulting in a live birth.

Pregnancy after fertility treatment

Live birth rates depend heavily on age, cause of infertility and whether donor eggs are used. Always check the denominator — per cycle started, per egg collection or per embryo transferred — and the patient group being compared.
